Meet Oral Surgeon Dr. Morris

Growing up, Dr. Morris always wanted to become a doctor. When he 12 years old, he wanted to become an orthodontist. It wasn’t until his first orthodontic class in college where he began thinking being an orthodontist wasn’t going to be for him. It wasn’t until his second year and third semester, when doing a rotation at Henry Ford Hospital, he found his love for oral surgery. And the rest was history.

Dr. Ronald P. Morris earned his dental degree and graduated with honors from the University of Detroit Dental School. He completed his one-year internship / general practice residency at Truman Medical Center. He then completed his Residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital. Dr. Morris is licensed in Michigan and Missouri. Dr. Morris is a board certified and a Diplomate, of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, as well as a member of the American Dental Association and the American Medical Association.

When Dr. Morris isn’t working, he enjoys many other things that doesn’t involve oral surgery. He loves spending time with his wife, traveling to Hawaii, golfing, being a part of many firework shows, lecturing nationally, teaching at the dental school, working out and most of all being Papa to his 5 beautiful grandchildren.
